Default diff ?

if your swapping gears you need to do both axles at the same time , this is the same limited slip unit you would get if you ordered your truck with the traction package , i believe the 96-2000 sports came with rear limited slip from the factory , this unit is differential housing , differential case bearings (already pressed on) only no gears, it will only fit a dodge 9 1/4" rearend. according to the tech at randy's ring & pinion it can be installed with common handtools no special setup is required.thanx
