That we do, I live in the far west as well (wild west locally) so the coast roads often have the rumblings of the Interceptor swooping along.
Jensen never fitted a balance pipe to these and this one has a slightly large bore stainless system fitted so it sounds sweet , except this weekend one of the baffles has come loose so it now rattles as well .
Never mind it's 41 years old so these things are expected and its' only been back on the road for a couple of weeks, or so, after a 16 year rest

My niece and her husband were sorting thru a bunch of pictures of my Mom's that my brother had found, and they found this! This pic shows my old 4 speed slant six 64 Valiant convertible, you can see my grandad's old black 62 Valiant just behind it, This was in 1983 or so.

Wow! Nice Valiant. We all went through some nice cars in our youth. Too bad you can't locate them today.

Thanks, but I have to admit, that was right after I got it out of the body shop class I was in. Before the paint was applied, I had every panel that would unbolt off the car, I think the passenger door was the only original one left. I had every bolt on that car off and on at least once except the 4 cross member bolts! It was all different colors for awhile as I'd work on it thru the week, then put it back together to drive home. Thanks, I miss that one for sure, miss the little black one behind it too.

Default It Was a Very Good Year

That 68 Fury III looks marvelous. That color paint [Plum Crazy Purple] was new for 1970. Seen mostly on Cudas, Challengers, and fewer Dusters, Darts, Runners and Bees. Never noticed it on a C- body [back then]. IMHO your coupe has the nicer of the 2 rooflines that were available on the 68. Had a 4 dr. that got smacked in 77. Bent chassis - RIP. Finally found an owner in 2010 with a 68 powder blue Sport Fury ragtop & GAVE him saved switches, headlite bezels & tail lite assemblies for spares. You'd have killed for them! Still have the torque flite [for 318 w/long tail housing for C- body]. Been sitting for 35 yrs..Got a relative in NY? Take it for free. I'll be 68 in Nov. & won't live forever...thumbsup:

Hi and thank you
Thanks for the tranny offer but have someone that really could use it ... get it. Mine was just all freshened this winter. Also don't have anywhere to store things since we down sized the house. Purple is a color I really like seeing. Since I am color blind there is not many colors that I see correctly and that is one I like what I see.

That's because "In Violet" (for a Plymouth) or "Plum Crazy" (Dodge) wasn't available on a C-body. There was a very dark purple available on the C-bodies however, called "Mood Indiglo", another very rare color.

Default My 69 Roadrunner

It has been 8 long years but my 69 Roadrunner is almost done. New wheels and tires go on next spring. It is a metalic black pearl color. And a new interior.

Default Fourmopar

Hello to all Mopar enthusiasts...such a great bunch of like-minded people. Anyway, has anyone ever heard mention or reference to a 383 Hemi? Was there ever one factory produced?

There were a lot of early Hemis with 300+whatever cubic inches, but no 383s.

Default msd problems

Hi , I was hoping for some help here . I have a Barracuda 360 ,1970 , with a mallory unlite . I have an MSD 6200 . I have wiring dia. of msd ;big red &big blk =batt. , orange =coil +, blk =coil -, white =green on distrib. , red =red on distrib., brown distrib. = ground , got that . I need a power wire to tie into small red . Now my ?'s are , 1 do I need the ballest resistor ?, what do I do with it ? 2 what do I do with the + &- wires on the engine harness that were going to the coil ? I 've been told to take +coil wire on harness that was going to the coil , put that wire on small red because that is your ignition key power ? Is that correct ? I would appreciate any help on this .Thank you .
