And heres an engine shot. The paint and chrome on my Roadrunner is the original, it hasn't been repainted or rechromed yet.

Download Irfanview and use that. Find it on google... when you have it, open the pic in Irfanview, go > image > resize/resample > (check the DPI, if over 72 change it to 72 and click OK, if not you'll have to reduce the pic size...) > click on 'set new size as percentage of original' and then type in the approximate percentage of the original size you need in one box. Make sure the 'preserve aspect ratio box' is ticked and the job is done.

Default It Was a Very Good Year

That 68 Fury III looks marvelous. That color paint [Plum Crazy Purple] was new for 1970. Seen mostly on Cudas, Challengers, and fewer Dusters, Darts, Runners and Bees. Never noticed it on a C- body [back then]. IMHO your coupe has the nicer of the 2 rooflines that were available on the 68. Had a 4 dr. that got smacked in 77. Bent chassis - RIP. Finally found an owner in 2010 with a 68 powder blue Sport Fury ragtop & GAVE him saved switches, headlite bezels & tail lite assemblies for spares. You'd have killed for them! Still have the torque flite [for 318 w/long tail housing for C- body]. Been sitting for 35 yrs..Got a relative in NY? Take it for free. I'll be 68 in Nov. & won't live forever...thumbsup:

Hi and thank you
Thanks for the tranny offer but have someone that really could use it ... get it. Mine was just all freshened this winter. Also don't have anywhere to store things since we down sized the house. Purple is a color I really like seeing. Since I am color blind there is not many colors that I see correctly and that is one I like what I see.

That's because "In Violet" (for a Plymouth) or "Plum Crazy" (Dodge) wasn't available on a C-body. There was a very dark purple available on the C-bodies however, called "Mood Indiglo", another very rare color.

Here's the Cuda stilll in a million peices. I've got the suspension parts blasted and painted and the drive train rebuilt all ready to go back together just need to get the under hood finished sanding and some rust repair completed and painted and will start assembly. Some interior work needed too. Hopefully have it done and running good next spring.

Default Here is my baby..... 68 charger r/t clone 440ci auto

If I may, here is a pic of my project car... bought after looking for a couple of years... originally a 318 car from Portland, Oregon. All the sheetmetal except for a patch about 6"x8" behind the driver door is original and untouched. bought it from a young fellow who was more interested in dirt bike racing...

440ci 1977
850 cfm TQ
auto trans (needs work)
3.23 sure grip
2 1/2 dual exhaust

will be going to my friends shop in north eastern Minnesota next winter for full body work.

My car is now in the shop for restoration... here is one picture showing some of the progress... taken May 11th 2006.

Default My '63

Here's a picture of my Sport Fury the day I brought it home (Oct.04). Been wanting one of these since I was a kid in 1967 and my neighbor had one. His had a 383 and ran hard. This one has a 440, original engine was 361. I've spent the winter doing interior work and patching rusty trunk and floor panels. The rust in the exterior is a little beyond my skill so it will have to wait awhile.

Default '65 Barracuda

Here it is midway through our changes to it. It was champagne pink when we bought it off of eBay, $3500. It's been repainted since this and we're currently swapping out the engine to a mildly built 318. (Was a 273 car) I bought it from the daughter of the original owner...

Here's Hubby's car, as is. I'm sure we'll be posting questions in regards to this beast as we get started on it. (My car comes first, his words, not mine)

Nice looking Javelin, have fun and enjoy it, there arent many cars like it out there so you definitely will have the only one like it at most car shows/gatherings.
