Another VIN number
I'm looking at a 64 Valiant with VIN L4B59119937.
I'm a little suspicious since the rivets don't look right... is there any way to tell if this number is even off a Valiant? Looks to have been a 6 cyl car but there's no engine or tranny left. |

The '64 VIN is all digits, no letters and are spot welded on.
http://www.lhmopars.com/vin62-65.htm You might have a VIN tag that was issued by a state DMV. |

It's drawing all kinds of red flags in my mind, but so far I haven't even found a number they can run... they say it's the wrong number of digits. I think they wanted a 17 digit number which doesn't correspond with what you are showing either. Would the number be on the build tag under the hood if it's been removed from the door jamb? It doesn't help that I'm asking people that were born 20 yrs after this car was last registered, but they also say it could have an "assigned number" at that age... I'm going to have a look tonite and see if there are any tags or paperwork in the car.
