Default Searching for Challenger info

Hi Mopar folks, I own a 1970 V code Challenger that I'm working on restoring,
JS23V0B283843. The car was registered in Maine for an unknown period of time until it's registration expired in Nov 1989 with a license plate of "2174V". The next state of known registration was Florida in 2005, followed by Massachusetts and Canada. The car was born FE5 Rallye Red, stripe delete, black vinyl top, white interior, sixpack, 4sp, no console, supertrack pack, and left hand remote mirror. When I bought the car it had been changed to triple black with a red bumblebee stripe. Also has Pioneer TS-692 rear speakers circa 1979-1983. Does this car sound familiar to any of the older crowd (or young) Any info, I would be very grateful. Thanks for reading.

Sounds like a great car to work on. I've had issues posting pics to this site recently, but if you can, that might shake a few cobwebs loose.

I tried to post a picture, but it doesn't seem to allow an attachment or an album uploading.

Let's see if they fixed it... I'll try a shot of my snow covered yard this morning... nope. I've uploaded many pics to this site in the past, and it is downsized within the parameters, file type etc. It's been busted for months and somebody needs to get things working again. Traffic numbers here tell me I'm not the only one.

whtbaron & Dick; perhaps a software glitch along the line? Since I'm unable to get a pic up, I tried to post a link to the car from back in 2005 with some shots but it wouldn't allow me until I have 25 posts. I'll try to come up with some interesting things to say.

Default Was factory FE5 Red Stripe delete

Factory color was changed from FE5 red, stripe delete to TX9 with red bumblebee prior to 2005.
