Default starter issues

I got in my roadrunner this evening to go to a cruise night. I hit the key and nothing. There was on clunk and then nothing. the battery is fully charged. I am thinking that it probably the starter. I have a set of Hooker headers on it. How much of a pain if it to change the starter. And is worth considering putting as mini starter in it ?

Just get a starter for a early 1990's truck. Like a 1990 W150 318. They work on everything Slant 6 to 426 Hemi. On the big blocks I have noticed some minor clearance issues, but I just trim the starter housing a bit. I can post a pic of the clearance issues if needed. I have a 440 and starter laying around.
