rolleyes2 69 Charger headlights problem Relay??

I have a 1969 Dodge Charger and I replaced the dimmer switch and all new headlights. I also replaced the dimmer switch plug. The headlight switch was replaced a few years ago. When im driving the headlights go off and on and stays off sometimes for a while. Am i missing something? Got to drive to a car show in two weeks and will be driving back at night.

Default

Could it be that the headlight switch is somehow shutting down? Maybe shorting out?
