Charger GTS??........maybe you meant Charger R/T or Dart GTS. Charger R/Ts came with 440 4-barrels and 426 Hemis. Dart GTS' came with 340 4-barrels and Im not sure if the 383 and 440 darts were GTS'. If you are talking about the modified Silver Charger GTS created a couple of years ago, then then engine in that was the 8 liter V10 from the viper.

The sliver Charger GTS that was handbuilt is a 1968 318 car. The only GTS from the factory were Darts and in 1967 had the 383 only. In 1968 the GTS could be had with 340 or 383. In 1969 (last year) the GTS could have the 340, 383, or 440 in it. 340 Swinger sales really cut into the more posh GTS.
Charger R/Ts had 440 standard and Hemi optional engines.

The only Charger GTS that i have seen was one on a TV show about a week ago or so was hand built by some guy in AZ i think. It was a 68 Charger R/T orrginaly, now has a 03 Viper engine/drivetrain. It was silver.
