rolleyes How do I ID a 4-speed stick shift?

I can't find a P/N anywhere. the only number that I can find, that is meaningful, is the stack of patent numbers.

Thanks everyone.

Jon

Is it a Hurst? Are you asking about the stick or the shifter mechanism?

The mechanism can be identified by a 4-digit number stamped in the reverse (longest) lever.

It is a Hurst. I'm talking about the stick itself. Found one on ebay, and I think it is the right one for my car, but they guy can't find a number, and I have the wrong one at home, also a Hurst, and can't find a number on it either (for comparison purposes.) The guy on ebay isn't real sure of the application of the shifter he's got up for sale.
