help pricing 71 charger
Hi everyone, I have come across a 1971 Charger my neighbor has had under a tarp for 12 years. He said he drove the car to the spot everything drove and ran fine covered it and hasn't touched the car since. It has some rust not to bad overall a solid looking car. He wants me to come up with a price can anyone help with a ballpark number to start with. I don't want to rip him off but I want a good.

Welcome to the board.
Value will depend on engine/trans/accessories and whether it's mostly stock or modified. |

If I was in this situation, I would say, I can't buy it and sell it both, tell me what you gotta have and we'll go from there.
I would never make an offer without knowing what the seller wants. Welcome to the best Mopar site on the net. |

Woolie is right find out what he's looking to get, then you know where to start or to walk away. Get some photos, fender tag photo, undr hood, interior, overall body shots post them up we can give you an idea what it's worth. Fender tag is the most important in deciphering what it really is no matter what some body says. Average 71-74 chargers in my area are going for 1500-7000 for a project to a driver needing tlc.
