Default Caveat

As usual, the CR (Let's kill Chrysler) test gave the Challenger a rating of 53 out of 100 possible points for performance. Now, I don't know what kind of drugs these guys are on, but if 92% of owners would buy another one, then I guess those owners never drive their cars! Ridiculus.

If you notice,
Quote:
The Chevrolet Camaro and the redesigned 2010 Ford Mustang, the two cars that compete most directly against the Challenger, were both too new to be included in the owner satisfaction survey, which requires that a car be on the market for at least a year.
So CR had no choice...

I've suspected for a long time that in certain marketing areas, Consumer Reports isn't exactly unbiased. Funny how Toyota had such a problem with floor mats causing unintended acceleration and yet that never happened in CR testing and was never mentioned by Consumer Reports?
Yet, when they are bashing Mopars, it's always some intangible thing, never anything specific unless it's something stupid like cupholder angle or whatnot. Which makes it easy to dislike something, no matter how good it really is.
