Looking for info on factory late 70s aluminum rims
I have a set of (apparently rare) rims that were optional on the late 70s Cordobas and LeBarons. Here's a picture:
I would like to know everything I can about these rims- most specifically, how did the center cap mount and what other center caps can be made to fit these rims? The original center caps were not included with these rims when I got them, so I am trying to find a suitable replacement. Will the rallye center caps from the same time frame fit these rims? Does anyone have any of the center cap hardware for sale? What, if any, aftermarket center caps will fit these rims? Is there a snap in center cap that will at least cover the center holes? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
