Default Small bolt pattern replacement?

I currently have the old small bolt pattern tires on my duster, is there a quick fix to upgrade to the larger more common bolt pattern? Or anyone know any websites with a good selection of rims for the small bolt pattern?

There is no quick fix.

You can run wheel pattern adapters -- something I'm totally against, probably due to a couple of different friends experience back in the '70s.

You can just search and find SBP wheels, and they are out there.

You can convert to the ever decreasing supply of boneyard 73/ later disc brake front end, and rear out of same car, or have your rear axle re-drilled, of course along with your drums.

Thanks for the reply, I was fortunate enough to find some disc brakes to convert the front to the 4 1/2" bolt pattern. So far nothing on the rear end but I am going to keep looking.

Too bad you're not closer. I have an 8 1/4 axle out of a 73-4 Gold duster. It's 2.7, though

The fronts are the hard part, For the rear (depending what rear end your using) You can buy some aftermarket axels & get 10" or 11" drums & backing plates from a B or C body car. If your running a 7 1/4 rear end, aftermarket axels would be a waste of money.

I believe it is the 7 1/4, originally was a slant six gold duster. Currently upgrading it to a 318. What is the possibility of just hitting up a junk yard and pulling off the rear from a newer Mopar and having it fit with minimal work? Like a Dakota or something?

Default Diff swap

I used a Volare Diff but, had to redo the perches and use the old springs off my 7 1/4 too. It was a hair wider but there was room and it worked.

Anything from a Dakota would probably be too wide for a Duster. 8 1/4 rear ends came in some Volare's & Aspens also mid to late 80's Mopar cop cars (Gran Furys & dodge Diplomat's). The 7 1/4 rears are weak I've broken a couple of them w/ slant 6's.

Some guys seem to be using Ford Exploder rear axles, I believe they are less than an inch wider than the stocker.
