Default traction

i have a 73 dart swinger with a ford rearend i cant get traction with 8 in wide rims can i go wider and what would it involve my motor is 435 hp and 500 ft lbs of torque need traction bad

More info is needed on the car like how it is set up. Trans, suspension?

You can gain more with suspension improvements i bet.

ok 727 torqueflite, ford 8.8 posie rear 3;73 gears. 8 stack mopar performance leaf springs on pass. side, six stack on driver. 15x8 radials. if you ned any more specifics lt me know please.
