disc brake upgrade 66 dodge dart
Hey all, I have a 66 dart GT Convert. and would like to upgrade to disc brakes in the front and maybe in the back as well. I am rolling with the stock 13" rims right now and all conversion kits i have seen online requires 14" and up wheels. I would like tyo save some mony and find a kit athat would work with the wheels i have, but i doubt that will work.
So... what size of rims / tires can i put on my dart without an major modifications. At some point I want to upgrade the shock (they are VERY bouncy right now) but i would rather not mess with the wheel well or have to move the shocks. And what kit would people reccomend? |

I have a 66 cuda had 13 inch wheels stock i did a SSBC disk conversion on it first i bought a set of 14x6 steely wheels from a fourmula s cuda the fronts rubbed on the calapers i ended up purchasing some rally wheels from summit 14x6 front and 14x7 rear every thing cleared no mods needed. i'm currently running 215/65r/14 tires all around, next year im installing 245/60r14 on the rear and 205/60r14 on the front.
