We have several 300M's with both wheels. We also run these cars thru a car wash on a regular(daily)basis.(I work for a major rental car co.)We haven't had any problems with either wheel.I will say this...the Viper's had a chromed aluminum wheel that Chrysler had a problem with. The problem is that when you chrome anything, you have a condition what's known as "hydrogen embrittlement",which is where all of the hydrogen that is produced during the entire chroming process is not released. This can cause the part to crack, which is what was happening to the Viper wheels. Now I checked with Mopar on this(we are a Chrysler fleet dealer too)and they say there has been no problem with the 300M wheels, and the Viper wheels were a small run that had the problems, and were caught before they were released to the public. So I really wouldn't worry about it.I'd say on which wheels to go with would depend on the color of the 300M.That new blue looks good with the chrome wheels, but the champaigne color looks best with the non chrome in my opinion.

thanks for your replay chris. my wife wants the cinnamon glaze and we are leaning to the plan aluminum wheels, which we hope will show off the cinnamon color better.
