This is in the future but I want some ideas

I picked up a 76 dart that I want to build a screamer, I have the drivetrain already planned, but the body is a different story. I know for sure I am switching the rear end to a 71-72 style bumper and I'm partial to the sleeper immage. Here is what I came up with:

1 Leave it turd brown and rusty with hub caps with an evil big block

2 do all the body work and paint it tan with no stripes or emblems except the fender badge V8 black steelie rims (widened on the rear) with an evil big block

3 A wild color like yellow or orange, black hood and stripes and a set of weld drag light rims and an evil bigblock

what would you do? Keep in mind this car will not spend much time on the street. I plan on taking care of the exterior first and run it at the track and on the street with the slant 6 for a year then over winter do the drivetrain swap

Default

Go find a parts car, preferably 72 or older new yorker or some other e body tank and get the drivetrain out and cleaned up,then fab up motor mounts and frame ties.rear end from early b body will go in 8 and 3 quarter ring gear and then worry about turd brown.
