Question

I JUST GOT A 440 ENGINE WHICH WAY SHOULD I GO? SHOULD I GO TOWARDS LOW COMPRESSION AND GET A BLOWER OR SHOULD I GOT FOR THE HIGH COMPRESSION AND GET THE SAME HORSEPOWER? THIS IS GOING TO GO INTO A 1971 CHALLENGER.

Cool

using a blower will give you about 100 to 140 more hp. than big compression and no blower. if this is a street engine and 92 octane will be used, you must not exceed 10 to 1 compression. so if you run 5 lbs. of boost, then the motor should have between 8:1 and 8:4 compression, assuming the blower is not larger than a 6:71 type.
