Just recently my car has developed a hesitation off idle. I should really elaborate on that, I don't thinkt that hesitation is the right word. When you start off and are slow into the throttle the RPM's will jump then fall. It does that for quite some time if you are around 1k rpm. I have also noticed it up in rpm. My uncle suggested changing the plenum gasket which I just did today and it didn't make a difference. The throttle position sensor has also been replaced. I have taken it into the shop and got stuck with a 200 dollar bill and all they did was change the damn plugs. When I first drove it away from the garage it drove fine. After alittle while it was doing what it was when I took it in. I think that it is a sensor somewhere but I just don't want to go and start blindly replacing them. Some of them can get pretty expensive. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Kyle |

Alittle more clarification.
I have had the plug wires replaced not more than a year ago. Don't think that they are bad already but that is something I guess. The shop told me that they wetted them down to make sure. Thanks, Kyle |

I would try to clean the throttle bodies, I guess you have the 3.5? Also remove the AIS motor and clean the pintle and the bore. If you had a leak at the plenum or lower intake you would most likely have a noticable idle condition.
