Default Kurt Busch Driving The #2

Dont know if anyone else knows about this but Kurt Busch and Penske announced today that he will be driving the #2 Dodge in 2007. Apparently he has asked to have his contract terminated so he can drive the car in 2006 but due to sponsor conflicts Roush can not make that decision until later. Though I'm not a big Kurt Busch fan this is no doubt great for Penske and us Dodge boys. We lost McMurray but we get a proven champ in return, hopefully he does well.

I saw it too. I guess he can drive, but I just can't get past his smug ass attitude.

At least he is a good conservative! (Not trying to offend the liberal folks out there. We can still B.S. while you hug your tree!)

oh gawd no, I'll never root for a penske car again. I'll never forgive him for messing with Jimmy Spencer. Was so glad to see Jimmy wreck him that time and later on punch the little sob. I will give him credit for being humble in an interview after the race a few races ago when he finished second and he actually kept his ego in check for once, so maybe there is a chance he'll straighten up, but I am like an elephant, I never forget.

I'm with you DWC......I have a problem trying to choke that guy down. I will concede that he can drive the wheels off a race car though, or die trying. I'll still pull for the #2 , or any Dodge for that matter. I'll think of the car as an independent entity though.....kind of like watching that movie "Duel" years ago where the truck had it's own personality and you never saw who the driver was.LOL

I hear Matt Kenseth and Jamie McMurray have some bad blood and Matts not too happy about him coming over to roush. It would be nice to get him in a dodge. Not to change the subject too much but i was reading the september issue of motor trend magazine. There is a little paragragh in there about dodge coming out with a 2-door rear wheel drive hemi car for their new ly plat form. They say it is going to be a retro dodge challenger to compete with the mustang. Unfortunately they say it isn't going to happen till 2010. Better late than never. Anyone have anymore info on this?

Pretty good movie for a low budget flick using a slant 6 car of all things. Guess they had to use the slant, everything else would have outrun that truck ...

The Challenger in the original Vanishing point kept outrunning the bell jet copter that they were using to film with. You can even see the copters shadow in some scenes.

Nope, it was about Kurt Busch.

Jack Roush told him he is not letting him out of next years final year contract. He has to finish with him next season, period.
