Default Edelbrock mufflers

Has anyone tried or heard anything about Edelbrock SDT mufflers? Performance/flow or sound etc.

The company is useing those mufflers to replace there last line. According to them, they work better. I have not heard the SDT's or the previous models, so I can n ot comment on sound or performance.

Sorry, thats all I know.

They didn't sound to good on my chevy carhauler. Sounded like a cheap turbo muffler(glass pack). It was not a long exhaust i dumped out right behind the cab. I ended up putting flowmasters back on it. My friend has a very potent cuda with magnaflow mufflers that sound excellent.

Used a set of flowmasters on my Chevy box truck with a 366 BB init and is sounded like a wuffling milktruck. That engine is very low comp and very little cam. Dumped right behind the cab with it too. :-(PCRMike

...did you try Hooker?

...I put a set of the Hooker Aero Chambers on my big block, running 3" all the way, with an X-pipe and a set of turn downs dumping rite in front of the rear-end and it sounds beautiful...or snotty...or BAD_ASS...whatever explanation sounds most manly!!!! LOL seriously they sound great!!!
