May I suggest Gibsons? They fit well, are very reasonably priced, and have held up for me with no maintainence so far.

there are realy no cheap headers for these truck`s as they are all emmision tested that cost money which some of the cost is past on to you. mopar seem to make the best set up pricey and require welling. gibson and borla look to use the stock head pipes . edelbrock`s look like they can use stock head pipes but i know they come withere own which require welding. the hookers i`ve seen use the stock head pipes.

Thumbs up

I like my Flowtechs. Bolted right up. Now welding. No leaks yet. One leak that did come up couldn't be blamed on the header as it was caused by a nut backing off of one of the bolts holding the exhaust pipe to the header collector. (In other words, my fault not theirs.) Paid $295 for them. Installed them myself in about 2 hours.

Good cheap headers? I've always subscribed to the theory- you get what you pay for. A cheap set may be cheap but will cost alot more in headaches. I've noticed summit has a set for $160. But i'd save up for jba, flowtech, etc...

If you don't get headers with a thick flange, you will have sealing nightmares. Also, take a straight edge and run it along the sealing surfaces like when you check a head for being warped. If the ports are seriously out of wack, do not accept the headers. I'm running ceramic coated Flowtechs with no trouble. Since last June not one bolt or nut has come loose. I did put the Mopar Performace high temp gaskets on them from the start.
Added. They ran me about $320 w/tax at my local speed shop. Ordered them there so I could send them back easily.

Question

Whats the difference betwen an earlier <97 vs my 2000 for headers? I see lots of listings for the earlier, but only the big dollar companies make the 2000. (I am not going cheap on you guys, just askin)
