Idea

I don't drive it-just start it ocasionaly-use the van for trips-last one was Daytona last oct.-it has done this before but I have started it by turning the key off-on-off-on when it has acted up. been studying the ram van service manual-narrowed it down to ASD or fuel pump relay-am new to this multi-meter work. any suggestions and thanks for your reply, Billy Bob.

Default Not sure what is causing it........

but when it does it you should be able to take the batt cable loose for 2 minutes and re-connect and it should start.

Thumbs up

went out this a.m. and the van started right up--just like nothing was ever wrong. taking the batt cable off for 2 min. did nothing. been reading this forum [and other forums] along with the '92 ram van service manual for the last week or so and learned alot. still don't know why it didn't start but the next time it acts up i'll know i can at least get past 1st base. cleaned the 60 way connection and batt cables. seemed to help. been driving it all day. also learned how to read the codes. got a 12 on it now. we all know what that is; don't we vern? and how come this forum don't have a van section? Tarrbabe, be headin right by you next wk. on my way to fla.
