Default Spring Carlisle was fun

I was at the Spring Carlisle Friday and I offer the following observations:

Not a lot of Mopar cars for sale but I did see a few A-body Baracudas, several mid-sixties Coronets, a '70 and a '71 Dart, about a half-dozen late 60's B-bodies, 3 or 4 E-bodies, 3 K-cars, a '71 Demon, a couple minivans, about 4 rough C-bodies of various vintage and a couple hotrods.

Prices seemed high but most were not what I would call outrageous. However, the most expensive car I saw was a '6x GT-350 Mustang for $105,000.00

The give-away cars were lame unless you like four-doors.

There was a '73 340 Challenger for $18,000. No: A/C, PS or PB

I saw two rough '65 Baracudas, both around $4,000.

The car corral looked like it was packed.

Conspicuously absent; I don't recall seeing a single first gen Camaro or Viper.

The weirdest thing I saw was not one, but two, Studebaker pick-up trucks

The car I would most like to have; a Cadillic CTS-V tuner car with 475 hp

The same tuner was selling a limited number of re-engineered first-gen Corvettes for $250,000

The lot we usually have no trouble parking in only had 3 spaces left when we pulled in.
