Default Odd stuff!

Hey! dukeb0y gotta ask,did you pick that up at scatpack, reason being I posted a queery about Plymouths?the new stuff, and one of the guys posted that same ad,I've been surfing the mopar sites since I bought my Cuda last spring & saw some odd stuff but to see a dodge gtx twice in the same day, well I had to ask. other half of the question would then have to be do you have any Idea as to what that actually was ????????????I 'm RUSTY Cuda over there was supposed to be the same here but missed the S when I registered. anyway ,later,Rich.

Same post, guess I'm a true Mopar Nut

Dodge had a factory in Argentina and made the Dodge GTX, Polara, and some econo boxes too. Closed up about 1980.

In Brazil, Chrysler sold to VolksWagen about 1980, and kept producing the Dart ( similer to ours) until 1982. Funny to see a Dart made by VW !!!

www.allpar.com All kinds of neat stuff, Mopars made elsewhere.

So your Cuda is rusty? YEARS ago when I moved to Florida,1977, Lots of rust free mopars cheap. I remenber about 20 years ago a Coronet Conv with a 440 - The ad said" To hot for old man to handle, $1200" Sure wish I had a time machine!!!!

I grew up in NY where a few good years of salt REALLY does a car in.

Hey Rusty,(RUTY) we're almost neighbors! This Sunday there's a car show/cruise/hangout in Ridgefield Park at the Elks club. Stop by if you want. I don't know if my Charger will be there or not, but if she is you cant miss her. Black primer and rust!

My wife's friend is putting together a car club, and this will be their fist show, so we'll see what's up.

Default Hey Rich,

It's an all car deal, not only 'pars. It's at the Elks Club at Spruce and Cedar Streets, in Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660. Not far from the Junkyard off of River and Mt. Vernon Roads.

I think it starts around 11ish?

Default Hey Rich

My starter crapped out on Friday, and I worked all day Saturday, so the Charger stayed home. The clutch blew out in my Taurus SHO, so I figured it was just NOT a car day! I was pissed 'cause it was an awesome day, and I wanted to go. all I wanted to do at that point was stay home and

My wife's friend had that redish 57-58ish (?) vette, and her hubby had the turqoise T-bird.

I saw that hemi dart last month at the River Edge show. Damn that car is cool!

All you JERSEY GUYS.................Check this out.........

www.njcarshow.com - there's still a few cruise nights and shows around through October.

There's never enough Mopar at these things so I figured I'd share that URL and maybe get some representation for Ma'!
